For best results, apply Westland Bone Meal every 4-6 weeks during the growing season, from February to the end of October, to sustain good soil fertility. Apply as a top dressing by sprinkling it over the soil surface, or as a base dressing by incorporating it into the soil with a spade or hoe. In dry weather, water before and after application. For young plants, dig into the planting hole and use 2 handfuls (70 grams). For established plants, sprinkle 4-5 handfuls (140-175g) per m² and water in well. As a soil improver, fork the feed into the soil, applying 3-4 handfuls (105-140g) per m². Works best with trees, shrubs, hedges, and root vegetables.
