Purple flowers with darker falls. Iris like full sun or partial shade & an open soil with plenty of humus & good drainage. They naturalise well in rockeries, edges of borders & containers. Why not plant a Winter Corner near the house along with Anemone Blanda, Chionodoxa (Glory of the Snow) & Galanthus Nivalis (Snowdrops)?
