Crocus Barr's Purple
Crocus Barr's Purple is a beautiful early flowering crocus producing elegant soft lavender-purple blooms with bright golden-orange stamens. Flowering from February to March and reaching approximately 8cm in height, this charming variety brings welcome colour to the garden at the end of winter while providing an important early source of nectar for bees and other pollinating insects.
Ideal for naturalising, Crocus Barr's Purple is perfect for planting in lawns, borders, rockeries, woodland gardens and containers. Left undisturbed, the corms will gradually multiply to create carpets of delicate purple flowers that return reliably each spring, making this variety an excellent choice for natural-style planting.

If planted in grass, wait until the leaves have completely yellowed before mowing. Leave the corms undisturbed to encourage naturalising and enjoy larger displays of flowers each spring.
