Where to Use
The refill kit is designed for use with the Growing Success Apple Maggot Trap and is suitable for apple and pear trees in home gardens, orchards, and allotments. Each trap monitors up to three trees within a 12-metre radius.
How to Use
Unfold the sticky insert and open the pheromone lure sachet. Place the lure in the center of the sticky trap and insert it into the housing, sticky side up. Hang the trap at head height on the windward side of the tree. Inspect the trap regularly—if more than 12 moths are caught per week, consider applying a suitable insecticide. Replace the sticky insert and lure every six weeks for optimal effectiveness.
When to Use
