Crocosmia Lucifer

€7.95
Crocosmia Lucifer, also known as Montbretia, is a striking summer-blooming plant that brings warmth and vibrancy to the garden. Its deep red, funnel-shaped flowers bloom from late summer to autumn, creating a dazzling display on fine, airy spikes. The distinctive, sword-like leaves of this plant complement its fiery flowers, making it a true garden standout.

Plant these bulbs between March and May when the last risk of frost has passed, and choose a sunny spot in your garden for the best flowering results. For optimal growth, plant them at a depth of 8 cm (3 inches) and space them 10 cm (4 inches) apart. Crocosmia Lucifer reaches a height of 80 cm (32 inches) and will bloom from July to September.

These hardy bulbs can remain in the ground over winter, ensuring they continue to bloom year after year with minimal effort. Pollinators, such as bees and butterflies, are particularly attracted to the vibrant flowers, adding another layer of charm to your garden.

Store the bulbs in a cool, dry place until you're ready to plant them, and be sure to refer to the planting schemes on the package for further details.
