Gro-Sure® Fine & Luxurious Lawn Seed can be sown from March to October. The best times to sow are during the spring (March to May) or autumn (September to October), when the soil temperature is consistently between 10-18°C. This ensures ideal conditions for rapid germination and establishment.
How to Use
To establish a new lawn, prepare the soil by digging to a depth of 20-25cm, removing any debris or weeds. Firm the soil and level it out with a rake to create a smooth surface. Shake the box to mix the seed and apply at a rate of 30 grams per square metre. For over-seeding, mow the existing lawn closely, rake or scarify the area, and apply the seed at a rate of 25 grams per square metre. After sowing, lightly rake the area to incorporate the seed into the soil, walk over or roll the area to press the seed down, and water thoroughly. Continue watering daily to keep the soil moist until germination occurs.
