For earlier flowering, tubers can be started indoors in April in light compost and planted outside once all risk of frost has passed.

Aftercare
Water regularly during dry periods and feed throughout the growing season to support strong growth and abundant flowering. Deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering. In colder areas, lift and store tubers over winter or protect with a thick mulch. Cut flowers should be harvested when fully open for best vase life.
