Dahlia Black Touch (Select from Taylor's Range)
€7.95
The Dahlia Black Touch showcases crimson-black flowers with uniquely shaped petals. It blooms throughout the summer, growing to a height of 90 cm (36 inches), making it an eye-catching addition to any garden.
Planting depth: Plant tubers 15 cm (6 inches) deep, spaced 90 cm (36 inches) apart. Start planting in March onwards.
Uses: Ideal for borders and bedding, this variety is also perfect for cut flowers. Shorter varieties can be grown in containers on the patio or balcony.
Expert Tip: Dahlias thrive in well-cultivated garden soil enriched with organic material and prefer sunny, sheltered sites. For earlier flowering, start tubers indoors in April using a light soil mixed with compost. Keep them moist, cool, and frost-free until it's safe to plant outdoors after the danger of frost has passed. For cut flowers, trim only when fully bloomed.
