The Begonia Marginata Crispa Yellow is a vibrant variety that features sunshine-yellow blooms with fiery red, ruffled edges, creating a dazzling display from July onwards. Compact and reaching a height of 25 cm (10 inches), this begonia is ideal for brightening flower beds, borders, and containers on patios or balconies. It is also well-suited as a houseplant.

Plant the tubers on the surface of rich, moist garden soil with good drainage, spacing them 5 cm (2 inches) apart. Begonias thrive in semi-shaded spots but will also bloom in full sun, adding versatility to their growing conditions.

For early flowering, start tubers indoors in trays containing damp compost and sand, placing them close together and level with the soil. Maintain a temperature of 7–16ºC (45–60ºF). Once the danger of frost has passed, transplant the tubers into your outdoor garden or containers.
