A British bred, gardeners' favourite for high yields and reliability. Runner Bean Polestar is early to flower, the vigorous plants produce clusters of 25cm (10in) stringless fleshy pods of good flavour throughout the season. Polestar prefers well-drained, moist, rich soil. RHS AGM winner. Good source of Vitamin C, folate and iron and high in fibre.
