For earlier flowering, tubers can be started indoors in boxes during April using a light compost mix. Keep them slightly moist, cool, and frost-free until planting out once all risk of frost has passed.

Aftercare
Water regularly during dry spells and deadhead spent flowers to promote continuous blooming. Taller stems may benefit from staking. In autumn, lift tubers after the first frost and store them in a cool, dry, frost-free place, or protect in the ground with mulch in milder areas.
