Begonia Orange Double
€5.95
Begonia Orange Double boasts vibrant, double orange flowers that are perfect for hanging baskets, window boxes, and containers on patios or balconies. Blooming from July onwards, this variety brings a pop of colour and charm to any space. The plants reach a height of 20 cm (8 inches), making them ideal for adding depth and beauty to your garden displays.
To grow Begonia Orange Double, plant the tubers in rich, moist garden soil with good drainage. A semi-shaded location is preferred, but these begonias will still bloom beautifully in full sun. Place the tubers on the soil surface, ensuring the tops remain exposed, and space them 5 cm (2 inches) apart. Planting should begin in April, after all frost risks have passed.
For earlier blooms, arrange the tubers close together in trays with damp compost and sand, maintaining a temperature between 7-16ºC (45-60ºF). Once the danger of frost has passed, transplant the sprouted tubers outdoors.
Begonia Orange Double is a fantastic choice for creating stunning hanging baskets and containers, adding a cheerful and striking accent to your outdoor or indoor spaces.
