Tulip Slawa (Muvota)
Spring Flowering Bulbs
Tulip Slawa, also known as Tulip Muvota, is a distinctive and dramatic variety prized for its deep maroon blooms edged with warm tones of pink to orange. Flowering in April and May, this tulip creates a striking contrast in borders and containers, adding rich depth and vibrant colour to spring displays. Its unique colouring makes it an excellent choice for both contemporary and classic planting schemes.
Easy to grow and versatile, Tulip Slawa thrives in well-drained soils and performs best in sunny locations, although flowers will last longer in partial shade. Perfect for planting in groups, it works beautifully in beds, borders, and containers, and can be naturalised under deciduous trees and shrubs for a more informal display.
