Crocus Ruby Giant

€5.95

Crocus Ruby Giant is a vigorous early flowering Crocus tommasinianus variety producing masses of rich violet-purple flowers with pale silvery centres and bright orange stamens. Flowering from February to March and reaching approximately 8cm in height, this award-winning crocus creates carpets of vibrant spring colour while providing an excellent early nectar source for bees and other pollinating insects.

Ideal for naturalising, Crocus Ruby Giant spreads readily through lawns, woodland gardens, borders and beneath deciduous trees, returning with increasingly impressive displays each spring. Its graceful blooms also perform beautifully in rockeries and containers, making it one of the best crocuses for creating natural drifts of early season colour.
