Crocus Ard Schenk
Crocus Ard Schenk is a charming early-flowering crocus variety that brings brightness to the garden in late winter and early spring. With its pure white petals and vibrant orange stamens, this variety makes a striking display and is particularly valuable for attracting pollinators when little else is in bloom. Its neat, compact growth makes it ideal for naturalising, ensuring reliable colour year after year.
Perfect for rockeries, borders, lawns, and containers, Crocus Ard Schenk is highly versatile and easy to grow. Thriving in well-drained soil, it prefers a sunny position but the flowers will last longer in partial shade. Plant in generous clusters to create beautiful drifts of early colour across the garden.

Aftercare
Plant from July onwards in well-drained soil in a sunny or partially shaded spot. Space corms 5–7cm apart and cover with 7–10cm of soil. Place wire netting just under the soil surface to deter mice and squirrels from digging up the corms. Allow foliage to die back naturally to feed the bulbs for the following year.
