Cosmos Atrosanguineus

€6.95
Cosmos Atrosanguineus, commonly known as Chocolate Cosmos, is a beautiful and winter-hardy perennial that will thrive in your garden year after year. This variety, from the Popular Collection, produces rich, dark maroon to chocolate-coloured flowers, adding a striking visual appeal to your outdoor space.

These perennial bulbs can be planted between February and April, ensuring that they are placed after the last risk of frost has passed. For best results, plant them in a sunny or partially sunny location. Plant the bulbs at a depth of 2 cm (1 inch) and space them 50 cm (20 inches) apart to give them room to grow. The plants will reach a height of 80 cm (32 inches) and will begin flowering from June to September, providing a long-lasting display of colour.

These plants are winter-hardy and can stay in the ground over the winter, with the added bonus of flowering more abundantly with each passing year. Store the bulbs in a cool, dry place until you are ready to plant. For more detailed planting guidance, please refer to the schemes on the package.
