Dahlia Labyrinth (Select from Taylor's)

€7.95
Dahlia Labyrinth from the Select by Taylor’s range is a spectacular and highly decorative summer flowering dahlia, admired for its flamboyant blooms and ever-changing colour tones. The large, informal flowers feature softly curved petals in warm blends of peach, apricot and coral, with subtle variations from bloom to bloom that give each flower its own character. Flowering all summer long, Labyrinth creates a dramatic focal point in borders and mixed planting schemes, adding movement, texture and richness to the garden. Its striking appearance and strong stems also make it a favourite for cutting, where it brings a luxurious feel to floral arrangements.

Key Features
This dahlia is selected for its flamboyant flowers and distinctive petal form, offering outstanding visual impact throughout the summer months. It flowers continuously in suitable conditions and produces large blooms that stand out beautifully in the garden. Well suited to Irish growing conditions, it performs best in a sunny, sheltered position and is easy to grow with regular care.

Size
Dahlia Labyrinth reaches an approximate flowering height of 90cm, or around 36 inches, making it ideal for the middle to back of borders and for cutting.

Useful For
Perfect for garden borders, mixed summer planting schemes, cut flower gardens and bold floral displays where dramatic colour and form are desired.

Aftercare
Plant dahlia tubers in spring once the risk of frost has passed, in fertile, well-drained soil and a sunny, sheltered location. Water well after planting and continue during dry periods as plants establish. Taller stems may benefit from staking to support the large blooms. After flowering, allow foliage to die back naturally. Lift and store tubers over winter in a cool, dry, frost-free place for planting the following season.
