Allium Gladiator is one of the finest giant ornamental alliums, producing spectacular globe-shaped flower heads packed with hundreds of soft violet-purple star-shaped florets. Flowering during June and July, the enormous blooms are held high on strong stems reaching approximately 120cm, creating dramatic architectural interest in borders and attracting bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators throughout the summer.

A true garden favourite, Allium Gladiator is perfect for adding height and structure to perennial borders, cottage gardens and contemporary planting schemes. Its long-lasting flowers combine beautifully with roses, peonies and ornamental grasses, while the impressive seed heads continue to provide interest long after flowering. The blooms are also excellent for cutting and drying.
