Onion Senshyu Yellow is a hardy Japanese onion variety that is ideal for autumn planting, producing reliable crops of attractive globe-shaped onions with a mild, sweet flavour. Aftercare
Plant the onion sets with the tip just showing above the soil surface. Keep the area weed-free and water during prolonged dry spells to encourage healthy growth. Harvest young plants as spring onions if desired, or allow bulbs to mature fully before lifting. Once harvested, dry the onions in a warm, airy place before storing in a cool, dry location.
