Tulip Calgary
The Tulip Calgary is a refined and elegant variety, producing beautiful ivory-white blooms on compact, short stems. Flowering in April and May, these uniform tulips grow to around 20 cm in height, making them an excellent choice for edging borders, patio containers, and low-level planting schemes. Their soft white colour adds a touch of sophistication, working beautifully on its own or when combined with other tulip varieties.
This RHS Award of Garden Merit winner is reliable and easy to grow, thriving in well-drained soil with plenty of sunlight. For best effect, plant in generous groups to create a striking display of pristine white blooms that brighten the spring garden.

Plant from August onwards, 10–15 cm deep and 8–10 cm apart, in well-drained soil in a sunny or partially shaded spot. Remove faded flower heads to encourage bulb strength. Allow foliage to die back naturally after flowering to feed the bulbs for the following year. Avoid planting tulips repeatedly in the same location to prevent soil problems.
