Snake's Head Lily, purple & white flowers. Fritillaria like partial shade & a rich soil, preferably alkaline, which does not dry-out in summer. Well suited to naturalising in borders, wild gardens, rockeries & in grass providing the soil remains moist during the growing period. Perfect colour for shady spots, usually flowering after daffodils & before tulips.
