Scilla Bifolia

€5.95

Scilla bifolia is a charming early spring flowering bulb producing masses of star-shaped violet-blue flowers on compact stems above fresh green foliage. Flowering from March to April and reaching approximately 15cm in height, this beautiful woodland favourite creates vibrant carpets of colour in borders, beneath deciduous trees, rockeries and naturalised lawns. Its nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees and other early pollinators.

Thriving in full sun or partial shade, Scilla bifolia prefers well-drained soil and is exceptionally hardy and easy to establish. Left undisturbed, it naturalises readily, forming larger drifts that return with even greater impact each spring.
