Dichelostemma Congestum
Dichelostemma Congestum is an elegant summer flowering bulb producing dense clusters of soft lilac-blue tubular flowers held on tall, leafless stems. Flowering from June to July, this graceful variety reaches approximately 60cm in height and adds vertical interest to sunny borders, cottage gardens and naturalistic planting schemes. Its long-lasting blooms also make excellent cut flowers, bringing delicate colour indoors.
Perfect for mixing with herbaceous perennials and ornamental grasses, Dichelostemma Congestum provides a striking display when planted in groups. Its unique flower heads attract pollinators and offer an unusual splash of colour at a time when many spring bulbs have finished flowering.
