Aftercare
Remove faded flowers after blooming to prevent seed production, but allow the foliage to die back naturally so the bulbs can replenish their energy for the following season. The decorative striped foliage should be left in place until it has completely yellowed. Tulips perform best in well-drained soil and benefit from being lifted and stored in heavier soils once the foliage has died back.
