Aftercare
Remove faded flowers once they have finished blooming to prevent seed production, but allow the foliage to die back naturally so the bulbs can replenish their energy for the following season. Tulips perform best in fertile, well-drained soil and benefit from avoiding prolonged winter wet. In heavier soils, bulbs can be lifted after the foliage has died back, stored in a cool, dry place and replanted in autumn.
