Allium Neapolitanum

The Allium Neapolitanum is a white-flowered allium that blooms in May, standing at 25 cm (10 inches) tall. Known for its appeal to pollinators, this variety is perfect for naturalising in gardens.

Planting depth: Plant bulbs around 5 cm (2 inches) deep, spaced 5 cm (2 inches) apart. Start planting in autumn or spring for best results.

Uses: This allium is excellent for naturalising in borders, rockeries, shrubberies, and wild gardens. It can also be used as a cut flower, adding a delicate touch to floral arrangements.

Expert Tip: Alliums are adaptable to well-drained soils and thrive in full sun or light shade. They are hardy and don’t require lifting during winter, though a thick mulch will help protect them from harsh conditions. Once planted, they will spread freely without special attention, providing a stunning and low-maintenance addition to your garden year after year.
