Callicarpa bodinieri 'Autumn Glory'
A lovely deciduous shrub with delicate pink flowers in summer and large clusters of violet bead-like berries in autumn, through winter. The young foliage is often bronze-purple, becoming dark green in summer before turning golden purple in autumn. The bare branches laden with berries look gorgeous in flower arrangements, and the shrub also brightens up a late autumn border.
The Callicarpa bodinieri ‘Autumn Glory’ is a plant with nice straight up branches. The berries are firm and stand close together and the berry bunches stay longer on the plant than on the ‘Profusion’ variety.
Attractive to birds.
