Bonanza is a dwarf variety of peach with excellent fruit. It has profusion of typical peach-like, bright pink flowers that are clustered along short branches in a dense plant. The leaves are mid green, semi-glossy, narrow and elongated, and not much smaller than on a classic peach tree. Extreme density of leaves on a dwarf crown creates an amazing appearance.
Fruit is same size as on a classic peach tree i.e. medium big, yellow and red with slightly hairy skin. It ripens from mid July, weather conditions pending. Thanks to its limited size it is ideal for small gardens and to grown in pots on balconies and patios.
Peach trees need moist but well-drained soil. It must be humus rich with enough nitrogen. Peaches need plenty of warmth and sunlight. Do not prune this variety. Grow it in full sun. Fully hardy to min. -27°C .
