We recommend David Austin Mycorrhizal Fungi is used when planting roses and most other trees and plants. David Austin Mycorrhizal Fungi is designed to get your plants off to the best possible start in the garden. It contains a broad mix of eighteen mycorrhizal fungi, with added beneficial bacteria and a balanced complex of biostimulants.
A 90g (3oz) pouch is sufficient for three bare root or containerised roses.
Our resealable top is very useful if you only plan to plant one or two roses. Incorporating David Austin Mycorrhizal Fungi into the root system of roses and most other garden plants will confer several benefits. It will: Help the plant to establish quicker. Help with water and nutrient uptake, especially the less easily attainable phosphates. Help the root system reach further into the soil. Improve the soil structure. Encourage the whole plant to thrive, both above and below ground.
It is designed to be effective in a wide range of different climates and is particularly helpful in poorer soil conditions or when roses are planted in areas where roses have previously been grown.
