Howea forsteriana - Kentia Palm

The Howea was named after its place of origin, the Lord Howe-islands in the Pacific Ocean, close to Australia.

The plant flourishes indoors . It is a true shade-lover, so avoid direct sunlight. Keep the plant slightly damp and water about once a fortnight. Between May and September, add some nutrients to the water once a week.

Suitable for anywhere in the house.

Air purifying.

Long lasting.

Requires little attention.

Ideal temperature 15-27 C.

Semi-shade, no direct sunlight.

Keep damp, compost must not dry out.

Apply fertiliser once every week in summer.
