This is an elegant, low maintenance, deciduous shrub which produces clusters of strongly scented, showy, single creamy-white flowers in abundance from April to July.
It has an upright, fountain-like form with arching branches and beautiful, bright golden-yellow young leaves which gradually turn to yellow-green with age.
Tolerant of urban pollution and salt-laden air, its great for using as an accent plant or for incorporating into a shrub border in coastal locations.
