The Cutting Globe Mixed Pack
How do I turn one plant into many plants??
This is a product specially designed to make a good size root ball to support a good sized cutting .A good quality simple and beginner friendly product to use .
The cutting globe facilitates a propagation method called air layering used for nearly 4000 years (tried and tested). The small globe is designed to take cuttings from climbers and long stemmed slim plants.
Each globe comes predrilled at the right size to accommodate a good root to stem ratio. Globes can be washed out and used again and again .
How do I use it?
By selecting a stem or branch on your shrub or tree that will fill your hole on your CUTTING GLOBE. Ring the bark in two places 12mm apart. Peel away all around. Scrape off any green cambium layer that might be left behind. Paste your wound with a rooting hormone powder/gel. Fill your CUTTING GLOBE with damp sphagnum moss , or moss peat. Place the CUTTING GLOBE around the wound and clip into place. Wait until roots have filled your CUTTING GLOBE (about 8 weeks) .
Cut off your now established root ball. Plant is now ready to be planted out or into a pot.(Keep Watering)

Top Tips.
Keep CUTTING GLOBES moist not wet. Wrap a length of tape around your CUTTING GLOBE to stop wind from shaking it open or to mark the starting date. Support CUTTING GLOBE on climbers with a cane.
Do not let the CUTTING GLOBE dry out. Some plants grow slower and may take time to root. Quicker growing plants/trees can take from four to eight weeks to show roots. Do not open the CUTTING GLOBE until roots can be seen.
