Allium Karataviense

€6.95

Allium Karataviense is a distinctive, low-growing ornamental onion producing large, rounded heads of soft lilac-pink star-shaped flowers above broad blue-grey foliage. Flowering from May to June and reaching approximately 20cm in height, this compact variety is perfect for the front of borders, rockeries, gravel gardens and patio containers. Its attractive foliage is almost as ornamental as the blooms, creating interest long before flowering begins.

Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, Allium Karataviense is an easy-to-grow, hardy bulb that attracts bees and other beneficial pollinators. Its compact habit makes it ideal for smaller gardens, while the unusual flowers also make attractive additions to cut flower arrangements.
